About Tom Spirals

Tom Spirals fell in love with reggae and dub music at a young age, the rebel spirit and uplifting vibes inspired him to start his first reggae band at 14 years old and he has been writing and performing reggae and dub music ever since.

In 2015 he cemented himself into the sound system scene hosting the infamous Walk n Skank sessions in Glasgow, with fellow Glaswegians Mungo’s HiFi, and since then has been working and learning alongside them.

His energetic, uplifting performances and positive hardworking attitude have taken him round the globe, touring in the UK, Australia, India, South America and all-around Europe. He has performed at top level events such as Dubcamp, International Dub Gathering, Goa Sunsplash, Sunska , Boomtown, Glastonbury and Rainbow Serpent to name a few ,adding his unique flavours on the mic for amazing outfits such as Mungo's Hifi, Sinai Soundsystem, Dreadsquad, Jungle Cakes, T.H.K , Mista Savona and many more.

He has released a whole heap of high grade music over the past 10 years on Scotch Bonnet, BoomSound , Pure Niceness and his own label; receiving big support from the scene and big players like David Rodigan (BBCradio1xtra), O.B.F Sound System and Iration Steppas .

Spirals is also the co-creator and producer of the An Dannsa Dub band alongside renowned traditional scottish musician Euan McLaughlin and is further defining his place in the Reggae Dub arena as an original and exciting next generation artist.

About Earth & Power

Earth & Power is an independent record label and sound system whose goal is to promote conscious and uplifting music, mixing traditional Roots Reggae and modern Dub. It was created in 2017 by French producer Dub Foundry, alongside Ranking Fox, singer and songwriter from Zimbabwe.

The pair, who released tunes like "Don't You Worry", "In His Name", "Fire Dem" or "Why Are We", have also worked with artists like Mafia & Fluxy, Afrikan Simba, Far East or Hornsman Coyote, and are constantly developing the label’s catalogue.

Originally based in Northen Ireland, Earth & Power has since relocated to France, near Roanne, and started promoting the “Roanne In Dub” sound system sessions.

2024 is also the year of the return of Ranking Fox to France, with many gigs already lined up.
